# WDRFT

WDRFT (Wagered DRFT) is the driving force of the DRFT Sports economy. It is a wagered token backed 1:1 by [$DRFT](/usddrft/tokenomics.md) and is used to earn rewards in Fragments.

To earn Fragments, players must complete the tasks provided along with WDRFT:

1. Place bets for a specified amount of WDRFT or [Fragments](/drft-sports/what-is-drft-sports/fragments.md).
2. Win a specified amount of WDRFT or [Fragments](/drft-sports/what-is-drft-sports/fragments.md) from other players.

This combination prevents abuse and allows us to introduce WDRFT rewards for various in-game activities without harming the economy.

The required number of bets and wins may vary depending on the source of WDRFT and will be displayed in the game as progress bars. Once the conditions are met, players will instantly receive [Fragments](/drft-sports/what-is-drft-sports/fragments.md), which can be used for crafting or continued gameplay.

There are several additional conditions for wagering $DRFT:

* The Fragments reward depends on the amount of WDRFT remaining at the time of task completion and will equal 2x that amount.
* You cannot receive more Fragments than double the initial amount of WDRFT at the start of the wagering process.
* Each WDRFT reward is wagered separately and does not mix with others.
* WDRFT comes with a limited time window to complete its tasks; after that, it is burned.

All [$DRFT](/usddrft/tokenomics.md) used to back WDRFT that does not result in [Fragments](/drft-sports/what-is-drft-sports/fragments.md) rewards will be burned to help stabilize the token economy.
